Myofascial release workshop
Friday, March 28th

Learn to let go of tension during this 90 minute myofascial release workshop. Class will begin with a slow flow and gentle stretch before moving into a full body self deep tissue type massage. Annie will guide you through myofascial releases for all of the major muscles that we tend to hold tension in. We will use yoga blocks and balls to place pressure on specific points in muscles and use our breath and the heat of our bodies to release tension in those muscles.
This workshop is appropriate for all levels, but know that certain releases can cause discomfort as muscles let go of tension. (Think: hurts so good type of sensation). You are welcome to attend this workshop if pregnant, but know that some of the releases are contraindicated in pregnancy, so please let Annie know if you are pregnant.
mobility & myofascial release

Join Annie and MB for a 90min hip focused class to restore strength and mobility to your body. This class will be a combination of myofascial release and mobility. We will use balls to release tension in the muscles of our glutes and legs and improve range of motion with various kinstretch and mobility techniques.
Meet your teachers:
Annie is an acupuncturist and yoga instructor. Her acupuncture practice is primarily focused on pain management and athletic performance. She frequently gives her clients myofascial release “homework” and has found it to be an incredible tool to help reduce pain and improve muscle function.
MB is a massage therapist and certified mobility specialist. Fancy names for helping people move better and feel better. Mobility training is a form of strength training for your joints. MB utilizes mobility exercises in her practice to help instigate better movement patterns and has seen great results.
Annie and MB “fangirled” over each other on social media before they finally met in person a few years ago. They are so excited to collaborate on this workshop that has been in the back of their minds for a while now!

Private Classes
Annie and Tabetha are available to teach private yoga sessions in a studio of your choosing, the beach, your home (space permitting), or really wherever! Private classes are great for small groups, sports teams, bachelorette parties, etc.
Class options:
Vinyasa Flow: A great option for beginners to advanced yogis, this movement based class can be geared towards all types of groups
Gentle Flow: Perfect for groups who are new to yoga, have injuries, or just want a more mellow class
Myofascial Release: Great for athletes and anyone with musculoskeletal pain/tension. Myofascial release uses sustained pressure on muscles and fascia to release tension in the body
